My path in life has been direct
1.
As I was starting out on my career journey, I was interested in and passionate about education and philanthropy.
2.
I started my career as a technology coordinator in an all-girls independent day and boarding school before moving into a third grade teaching role.
3.
I then moved into higher education, where I worked to prepare educational leaders pursuing similar journeys to mine.
4.
When the opportunity to work as a program officer for The Wallace Foundation presented itself, I was excited to take it on as working in philanthropy had always been a dream of mine.
