I've taken a lot of twists and turns
1.
First I moved away from home after college to coach and manage a gymnastics facility.
2.
Then I decided to come back home and start in sales at a health club.
3.
While I enjoyed the entrepreneurship side of sales, I chose to fulfill my passion and teach.
4.
I went back to school to work on earning my teaching certificate & Masters in Education.
5.
Rough times came in 2009 & I couldn't find a teaching job. I went to a tech recruiting firm.
6.
It wasn't what I loved doing, so I started at an education software company.
7.
Finally, I worked my way back to the two things I love - sales and education.
8.
I work for a phenomenal company that allows me to be flexible, innovative, creative, and to travel!

How I responded:
Don't be complacent and wait for things to come your way. Be proactive and don't let others stand in your way. Make things happen. I don't believe good things come to those who wait. I think good things come to those who take action.
