You should go to school for business or law. Do something practical.
How I responded:
You ALWAYS have to follow your gut. It is your life, no one else's. You need to go after what you want because you are the one doing it for the rest of your life. Not that you can't always change your mind/turn down a different path but it's better to just follow your heart from the start and eventually everyone will respect that.
