Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Family:

I was told that this wouldn't pan out, it's not a real career, I should've went for something else (meaning - choose something to make the most money instead), and overall - a lot weren't too happy about it.They expected me to go to a university instead.

  • How I responded:

Always follow your passion, and don't let anyone crush your confidence for it. There's a lot of toxic people in the world that will try to manipulate you to do what THEY want you to do. Just remember, life is short, it's YOUR life, and you might as well choose a path that you enjoy! If they say you can't do it, brush them off, and keep hustling. As long as you make yourself proud, and you're truly happy with what you're doing - don't let anything/anyone stop you. You got this!
